Title: Older fantasy film... Post by: Joe the Destroyer on February 06, 2007, 03:05:23 PM There's a fantasy film I remember from the 70's/80's, but I never did figure out the name. All I remember was at point the main group consisted of a child, a warrior, and some big rabbit/sasquatch thing that sounded a bit like Chewbaca. There are two scenes I specifically remember:
-The warrior getting into a somewhat comical battle with an ogre or something along those lines -The final battle between the kid and some sorceror who took over his kingdom which involved them shooting magic at one another. My first thought too. I'm 99% sure that's it. Title: Re: Older fantasy film... Post by: Jordan on February 07, 2007, 12:27:06 AM Oh god! Yeah that's the one! Hahahaha. I wanted that Rabbit-Wookiie thing to die! Wasn't Dave Carradine in it too? (Or am I thinking of the horrible sequel, "Wizards of the Lost Kingdom 2?")

I have never seen the second one, but the IMDB does list Carradine in it: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090334/ From what I read, the sequel does not have the burbling yeti-monster Gulfax. |
