Hex (1973) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0070174/) - Wow, what a surprising film. Really enjoyed this one starring Keith Carradine, Scott Glenn, Gary Busey, and other fine performances. The story takes place in the grasslands of Nebraska around the time of the first motorcycles. It feels like a Western at the beginning then the motorcycle gang shows up in town and they cause chaos as only these machines would on the dusty downtown streets of Bingo, Nebraska. One of the towns people owns an automobile and they set out to race and upon loosing to the motorcycle because of a pedestrian they set out to find them and shoot them. They hide in a distant country farm house where two sisters live and one of them doesn't like the intruders and she cast her spells upon them as her deceased Indian father had taught her. One by one the bikers end up dead. Haunting yet pleasant film and characters that you must see.

  (8 out of 10 Stars) Don't listen to the reviews at imdb.com. They really don't know what they are talking about. This is a real gem of a film.

(side note: The title on the box is CHARMS which isn't the real title according to imdb.com)
