Title: Jackass The Movie funny audio

 :bouncegiggle:

I have Jackass The Movie on an R2 DVD and there is something really funny on the Spanish audio track. :teddyr:

The clip just after the golf course airhorn segment shows Chris Pontius dressed as a blue mouse angering what looks like a mountain lion, which then gets properly peed off and smacks Chris in the face. While the English, German and French audio tracks have Chris saying nothing at all, the Spanish audio has him say to the lion "Dankie, dankie."

While I don't speak Spanish, I do speak Afrikaans and those words in English mean "Thank you, thank you." All of which makes it doubly funny when he gets smacked in the face as though he wants such punishment.  :teddyr:

My favorite alternate audio track on any DVD that I own is the 80's version of Little Shop of Horrors.

Anyone truly hasn't lived until they've heard Steve Martin's famous song "Dentist" in French!

Title: Crimson Rivers ~ what did he say?

My other favourite is in Mathieu Kassovitz's The Crimson Rivers where Jean Reno as Commisaire Niemans is frightened by the blind child's dog. On the English dubbed version, the conversation with Jean Pierre Cassel's Dr Cherneze goes like this:

Cherneze: Who are you?
Niemans(rattled): Commisaire Niemans. Sorry, I'm scared of dogs.

If you listen in French with English subtitles, Jean Reno's actual reply is

Niemans: I apologize, dogs scare me sh-tless."  :teddyr:
