Title: Very obscure slasher flick.
Post by: Doc Daneeka on April 01, 2007, 08:25:56 AM
I remember seeing this 1980s-looking film just a few days ago, it didn't seem to have much of a plot but what I do remember is it seemed to revolve around killing various people around a campsite as they were making love many times.

It may have been a comedy, as I remember a bunch of the victims telling jokes, sometimes just before they got killed, and the killer walked around like he was retarded in his hockey mask and tattered clothes looking all serious.

I think it may have been a parody, I saw a LOT of exaggerated cliches. Can anyone of you help? The thing seemed pretty obscure.

Could it have been Bloody Murder?  It's from 2000 but it's a parody on the F13th films from the 80s.

  Or maybe Sleepaway CampII? (1988)

Neither of those. Are they obscure? I've heard of them. And I'm nearly 100% positive it was actually made in the 80s.

I remember some lame killer theme always playing when hockey-mask man walked around, sounded like it was made by some guy making weird noises with his mouth in a tunnel.

Could it be Freak Out?

Two parodies I know of from the 80's are "Pandemonium" and "Wacko" (the latter is a Greydon Clark film).

However, an IMDB search brings up this title, "Unmasked Part 25," that looks promising:

That Unmasked part 25 sounds pretty great.  I think I'm gonna have to try and get that one.  Apparently only the beginning has a sequence as described, but it is a satire.  Does someone having their heart ripped open and face torn off sound familiar?

No, it's not satire I think, lame is more like it.

I don't remember being really scared during the course of the film, I did a pretty good job (like 100%) predicting who would live and die.

Whoop! I never realized Friday the 13th had sequels. I always thought you just couldn't follow up on such an original, suspenseful film. Anywho, I'll be checking up on all... *8*... of these movies soon.

Weird sounds? Did it go "ch ch ch ch...." and echoed? It sounds like you're describing an honest to God Friday the 13th movie. Are you sure that want it? Was the killer in the movies name "Jason"?

The opening post was an April 1st joke.
