But yeah, a new take on the concept would be great.

But yeah, a new take on the concept would be great. That's because they are too obsessed with being "dark and gritty". So much so that they alienate the boy market. A show premised upon having your civilization wiped out and the few survivors being chased around the galaxy is dark & gritty.
But Flash Gordon should be "fun," maybe a little tongue in cheek, and light. |
