THE PLOT

One of my favourite movies. It's not, as you might think from the title, a D-Grade 80s horror movie.
Rather Slaughterhouse Five is a time travel story, similar I suppose to Donnie Darko.

The movie begins with Billie in old age writing a letter to the editor of a local newspaper. In what must make the editor's day Billy explains how he has become "unstuck in time". From a structual perspective this means that the movie, at random, jumps back and forth through important events in Billy's life.

In his normal "stuck" life Billy is fairly docile. This contrasts interestingly with his "unstuck" periods where he attempts to change history but finds himself unable to.

This movie is filled with interesting moments. I don't want to spoil too many in case someone is interested in tracking this down. If you are interested note that the previously mentioned structure might not be liked by everyone also it's kinda an obscure title.
