Title: Tomb of Anubis Weekly Updates - 04/16-04/22
Post by: AnubisVonMojo on April 22, 2007, 05:49:36 PM
Another good week for The Tomb of Anubis (http://www.tombofanubis.com), featuring the following updates!

Wednesday saw Nix stop by with a new Shorty review for the Jersey Devil stinker Satan's Playground!

Friday's Broke-Ass Budget review came and went with Anubis pinching a loaf on the Italian sci-fi horror known as Star Odyssey: one of the worst movies he's ever seen!

Today's update brings three new reviews to the Tomb. Ragnarok covers the slick New Zealand serial killer flick The Ugly. Nix sets his four-barreled sites on Phantasm III: Lord of the Dead. Anubis wraps it all up with a lukewarm greeting to the Nudist Colony of the Dead.

Drink it up kids, there's enough for everybody!

Look!  Look!  It is another bad movie review site that is alive!

Ah, I obviously need to watch "Star Odyssey" again.  I don't remember it being that bad, compared to other space operas.  Maybe I have a soft spot for them.  I will say that "Escape from Galaxy 3" is amazingly awful.  They even use stock footage from "Starcrash," it is so bad.

Not to jinx us, but frighteningly enough we've had consistant new material every week since the beginning of the year :::knock on wood:::

And Star Odyssey might not have been so bad if it weren't for Norman's prancing off of screen in every shot, the robot Ropers, Hollywood's constant superhero posing, Morley's insistance on using his telekinetic power for nothing more than opening his medicine cabinet, Bridgette's use of a bathing suit as laboratory wear... nevermind, I was wrong, I genuinely was unable to enjoy this movie! However, in the sense of watching it with friends, you've got a definite piece of MST3K quality viewing here.
