Title: Clock's Leave of Absence
Post by: clockworkcanary on May 03, 2007, 07:06:50 AM
Well, I was hoping to get internet installed at home again so I wouldn't have to post from work any longer, however, a kink has been thrown into my plan as I've been layed off - so I guess I loose my internet access there too.

At any rate, just a slight leave of absence for me, at least until I locate my next income, which hopefully won't bee too long (I consider this a blessing in disguise as I really want to move to the city anyway).

...However, I will find a way to post my latest review that I have just about done: Wes Craven's Deadly Friend.

I'll miss this place but I assure you I will be back.  Hopefully you all won't do too many Interactive B-Films without me :)   Later for now.

:bluesad: Hi, clock, sorry to hear about your personal circumstances, I hope all will go well with you and your family in the coming months.

Once you're on your feet again, we will welcome you back, me especially because I need you to come help me fight that damn TRex again. He stinks, his breath stinks.......yuck.  :teddyr:

All the best, hope all goes well for you and a warm trans-ocean hug from me to you and yours.

Hahaha Trevor - you rock!  I will be back, one way or the other.

Actually, this may work to my advantage as I was under paid at this job and already found a few prospects (one would be a 40% increase in income so I can't b!tch too much).   But in the mean time, I can't help but be a little anxious.  None the less, I'll stop at the library when I can to read up on the latest reviews.

And T-Rex is going down! lol

I don't know if this is something you can use, but if you don't mind using dial-up you can get cheap internet access here: http://www.peoplepc.com/connect/index.asp

It's $5.47 a month for the first three months.

I'd make a mention of the AOL free trial, but I wouldn't subject my computer to their software.

Of course, this is depending on whether you have a landline or not. If you use a cellphone only, kindly ignore this post. :teddyr:

Hope that we hear from you soon.  It will not be the same around here without you.

Thanks guys!  I won't be gone long (I hope) - just gotta get the gears in motion.  I'll have to make it a point to stop at my sister's and post at least once in awhile - hell, can't live without reading the reviews on here lol!

Today is my last day and I was really hoping on having Deadly Friend ready but  I haven't been home for several days (been at girlfriend's) but I will get that posted within the next week (because, well, I'll have a bunch of free time real soon).

And thanks for the tip Menard - that would be an ideal temporary option, however I'm not sure if my address will stay the same for very long with so much up in the air.  Ahhh limbo.

Later all
