Title: Tomb of Anubis Bruno Mattei Memorial Service
Post by: AnubisVonMojo on May 30, 2007, 11:34:30 PM
Thanks to a computer virus the site was a little slow going the past week. As such The Tomb of Anubis  (http://www.tombofanubis.com) has taken 10 days instead of the usual 7 to bring you the following updates:

Last Wednesday Anubis dug up 6 of his old reviews to clean up and enter into the Archives. The movies reviewed ran the gammut of time periods, budgets, genres and running times and consisted of: Idle Hands , Interview With the Vampire , I Spit On Your Grave , Killer Tomatoes Eat France , Killjoy and Knick Knack Paddy Whack.

Today's big update (which should have happened on either Sunday or Monday...) consists of Nix's review for Death Machine and a small Bad Movie Memorial Service for the recently deceased Italian bad movie director Bruno Mattei. As part of the tribute, Anubis reviews Cruel Jaws and Shocking Dark while Ragnarok tops it all off with the coincidental finale to his One-Man Alphabet Project, Zombi 3.

Updates for the coming week will be hectic with my manic travel schedule set to kick off on Friday, so I can't guarantee if or when this weekend's updates will happen. All I do know is that... well... I don't even know that.

Just keep tuning in and finding out boils and ghouls!

Good stuff.  Would you believe that I actually want to see "Shocking Dark" now?  It looks interesting, especially for someone who loves monster and creature movies - even ones that are incredibly low budget or inept.  Sadly, I cannot read the piece about "Death Machine," because I want to review that one sometime in the next year.  It has a very simple plot, but Brad Dourif is usually a blast when he is on the screen and I liked the killer robot design.
