Sometimes the artsy gore and horror movies can do it for me, but this one seemed too hung up on portraying the relationship between the girls and I think that they were trying to convey the woman's disgust (or fear) of what she had become. It's been a good five or six years since I watched this one and usually reviews perk my interest into giving them another try. Not so for the film in question.
