Title: Trying to find this truly bad british film Post by: Natty Nat on June 18, 2007, 12:49:46 AM Good Day All... OK, this is my first time trying this site, and I do hope that I can bring something to the table later on. What I lack in movie knowledge, I more than make up for in being a fountain of worthless (and fantastically bad) music. So here goes...
I was stationed in the UK during the '80's. We would watch really bad British Movies and :cheers: drink way too much while doing so. There was this one movie that we could never find. However, it seemed to be on a trailer on all the other really bad movies. So here is what I remember from it. 1) The trailer had little plot. 2) One of the characters was "Eugene, the Big Meat Eater!" At one point, Eugene danced like "Gene, Gene the Dancing Machine" from the Gong Show. Maybe the same character? 3) There was this small metal toy robot, the one that the doors opened in the front and the robot would stop and fire machine guns in the form of pulsing red light. The robot then uttered the catch phrase :hot: "Ha, Ha, Ha.... The Bolognium is Ours!" Again, remember military, '80's, pubs, drinking & watching these late at night. If anyone knows of this movie, title & how to get a copy, I would really like to get a copy by Halloween so that I can freak out my girlfriend's daughter & here friends... They have taken a shine to "Ha, Ha, Ha.... The Bolognium is Ours!" and should use it in the correct context! Cheers! It was a oddal comedy/sci-fi flik in the camp tradition of ROCKY HORROR. Never Seen it,but recognized your description from a review I read in a Psychotronic magazine years back. Oh...Welcome aboard!
