Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: Raffine on June 18, 2007, 04:18:34 PM Quote 37. President's Mystery, The That would be interesting to see. It was based on an mystery story idea by FDR! Grave of the Vampire and Son of Ingagi are a couple more of these films I've been long curious to see. Thanks for the heads up, Herr Burgomaster! Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: The Burgomaster on June 18, 2007, 05:13:25 PM I ordered both of them today. There is also a new WESTERN HEROES 50 MOVIE PACK. That is the third western 50 movie pack from Mill Creek. The others are WESTERN CLASSICS and GUNSLINGER CLASSICS. I don't have any of those yet, but I have most of Mill Creek's other sets. Thay are all well worth the money. I recently paid only $10.60 each for the COMEDY CLASSICS and ACTION CLASSICS sets. That's about 21 cents per movie. How can you go wrong?

Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: Raffine on June 18, 2007, 05:33:14 PM It looks like there is another Mills Creek 50 movie pack coming out at the same time (July 24th) with the intriguing title Pendulum Pictures 50 Movie Pack. Several sites are offering it for pre-sale, but I couldn't find a film listing anywhere.
Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: RCMerchant on June 18, 2007, 06:32:15 PM FRANKENSTIEN 80- Yikes! That is pretty farout.usta have it on vhs...dunno where it went. Wanna see a Frankenstien monster (looks kinda like the DeNiro version!) beat someone to death with a huge bone? Alrighty then...this is the movie for you. Ex Hercules star Gordon Mtchell plays the good doctor too!
The guy on the imdb says it's "disgusting, perverted, with bad acting thrown in for fun. This movie (and I use the term lightly) is a definitely a DO NOT SEE!"......Which,in my book is a recommandation of the highest order! . Mill Creek's website has a bunch of 6 movie packs such as BEASTLY BUTCHERS, CRAZED KILLERS, DEMENTED DEVIANTS, etc., that are listed under the category PENDULUM PICTURES. My guess is that the 50 movie pack you are referring to is a compilation of movies from these 6 movie packs. The BRUTAL BLOODSUCKERS set includes a movie called BARELY LEGAL LESBIAN VAMPIRES, which sounds all right to me. Check them out at www.millcreekentertainment.com/search.asp?starg=c&prodcatid=24 Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: Torgo on June 21, 2007, 05:55:18 PM The local Best Buy near where I live has all of those Mill Creek 50 movie packs in stock.
I've been mulling over picking up a couple of them due to being only 20 dollars each, you're paying about 40 cents a movie. But I've been burned so many times by Brentwood Entertainment's multiple movie packs that I'm hesitant on picking these type of things up. Title: Re: MORE Mill Creek 50 Movie Packs Post by: The Burgomaster on June 21, 2007, 06:58:49 PM Torgo - I have most of Mill Creek's 50 Movie Packs and I keep buying new ones when they release them. I think they are well worth the money - - you can get them cheaper than $20, too. DeepDiscount DVD sells them online for less than $17 each, and I recently got the COMEDY CLASSICS and ACTION CLASSICS 50 Movie Packs from DeepDiscount for less than $11 each. Sure, there are a few movies in each set with crappy video and audio transfers, but you usually end up with at least 46 or 47 out of the 50 movies that are in nice shape. I'm amazed at the good quality of even some of the old silent films in these sets. I was afraid to buy them at first, but after I purchased my first set, I was addicted.
