Title: Frankenstein 90 (1984)
Post by: Scott on June 25, 2007, 09:16:09 PM
FRANKENSTEIN 90 (1984) (http://imdb.com/title/tt0087289/) - Here is a great Frankenstein comedy that is as good as YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (1974) only in a different way. It's a French film and Frankenstein's monster "Frank" is rather articulate and can talk about metaphysics and such and is very polite, but he doesn't understand everything like the time kills three dancers because Victor thought they were nice and Frank thought he'd bring them home. You'll really love this film. It has a pleasant style of comedy that will crack you up. It reminds me of the more recent "caveman" commercials. The film also has a neat scene when Frank leaves his master because he's to much trouble and stays at a castle that apparently was the resting place of the real Frankenstein monster as they open his tomb to find his body and the castle with all the lab equipment. There are to many funny moments here to recount. Anchor Bay has a nice copy with subtitles.

  (8 out of 10 Stars) Great fun..............................This one might be a 9 out of 10.
