It appears we are back up and good to go, but no word from the host what caused the outage. If I had to guess, it was a higher level issue or possibly a denial of service attack.
I do have a company that monitors the server and will troubleshoot if it goes down. Any more than 15 minutes, they contact Knownhost and start trying to get it back online.
