Title: Holy Crap! Blade Runner set on Amazon!
Post by: Mr_Vindictive on August 09, 2007, 08:16:53 AM
Just found this.  I've been looking forward to this set since first hearing about it, but I'm now certainly going to pick it up after seeing it.  I'm a sucker for a good looking/interesting DVD set and this one has me extremely excited.

http://www.amazon.com/Blade-Runner-Five-Disc-Ultimate-Collectors/dp/B000K15VSA/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-3570753-7588912?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1186665172&sr=8-1 (http://www.amazon.com/Blade-Runner-Five-Disc-Ultimate-Collectors/dp/B000K15VSA/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-3570753-7588912?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1186665172&sr=8-1)

The price is a bit steep but I might go ahead and put in a pre-order on this set.

Thoughts?

*Andrew, feel free to change the link to one that badmovies.org would get some revenue from any purchases made from the link*

Is that case the standard size of a dvd box set or is it "life size"? Heck i'd buy it just for the case...lol I'm such a fan of the bleak futuristic movies of the 80's, i've always liked this one and i'm tempted to get it as a gift as well. I iwsh more people put interviews and screentests, outtakes etc on the bonus dvd vs all the stills of movie images or posters which seem like a waste of disc space for me. It suprises me this movie never spawned any type of sequel or prequel or what have you. Check this out: http://www.theultimatebladerunner.com (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7sK3AqFYAWQ)

54.99 isn't that bad at all for that 5 disc deluxe set.

I was going to just get the 4 disc set, but I think that I'll go ahead and get the 5 disc deluxe one after all.

Susan, you continue to Rick Roll me.  The saddest thing about all of this is that I don't much mind the song.  I guess that your efforts are in vain!   :tongueout:
