my husband has been trying to find a movie he saw when he was really little,i hope y'all can help!all he really remembers is that people go into space,and they arive on a planet where the people ride giraffes.i know that's not much,but i really hope you can help,and thank you!

Was it live-action or animated?  In english or a foreign language? When was your husband "really little" – the 1950s? 60s? 70s? 80s?  The more information you can provide, the easier it will be to identify this.

he says it was in the late 50's,he saw it at the drivein.i forgot to say that something he remembers is there was a janitor mopping the spaceship,and he hit a button with the mop that caused the spaceship to take off early.it's a live action movie,and he thinks it was dubbed in english,his mom thinks it might have been polish or russian,she remembers that the credits were in a strange looking language.hope you can help,i've been trying to figure this out for 25 years now!thank you!

Sound a little like "Far Out Space Nuts" (vaguely, mostly I want an excuse to try doing this youtube thing properly). This was the funniest thing in the world when I was five.

nope,that's too new,he was in his 20's when that series came out,thanks though!

It may be from the Japenese STARMAN aka SUPERGIANT aka KOTETSU NO KYOJIN series of films. Kinda like the ol srials. Aimed mostly at kids,and with goofy monsters in outer space. These were made between 1956 and 1959, and I believe  9 chapters...maybe 12.
