I work part time at a low power radio station, and our noontime hour is dedicated to local news & talk produced by volunteers. Some of these shows are produced outside of our studios, & delivered on CD. A frequent problem I tend to encounter, is that some of these "home made" shows tend to be slightly longer than their allotted runtime. I need to start & stop the shows at specific times, meaning that I often have to cut them short, resulting in angry phonecalls from our listeners.
