Loads of low budget special effects not equalling anything resembling a theme for the film. Its films like this that make for the best reviewing experience.

He loved such films as much as me, so we were both excited to be sitting down in front of the TV one Saturday afternoon with our snacks and catch a film we had never seen before. Oh boy. Even then I noticed how the film was all over the place and made no sense. Grant's line of, "you know what this is don't you? It's a time-space warp!" struck me as stupid even then. In fact it struck me as being so over the top dumb that I have never seen the movie since, but that line and the film itself is rooted in my memory and won't go away.

If I could be a fly on the wall for one movie pitch this one would be high on the list. As said in the review, I bursted out laughing several times at it's idiocy. It's a space/time warp!" line. The Vacuum Cleaner of Doom was another oddity that I just couldn't explain

In my case, I thought it looked like a crazy flying vacuum that was armed with a disintegration ray. Why anyone would equip a flying vacuum with such a ray is beyond me, but I'm not in marketing. |
