Title: Scary Movie Franchise Post by: Bmeansgood on September 03, 2007, 10:02:06 PM I have a theory on this franchise, the odd numbered ones are good, and the even numbered ones are bad. By my calculations, we are due for a good one soon.

They, IMO, wore out their welcome/novelty with the first one. They're taking a page from Mel Brooks and beating a joke to death. The worst part is that it was never a really funny joke to begin with. Epic Movie, Date Movie, what else. The novelty has indeed worn off.

Part 3 was okay, but I wouldn't buy the dvd. 4 I didn't even bother watching. I like the Airplane and Naked Gun flicks. BASEketball was good too.
