Title: Romulus and the Sabines
Post by: Kester Pelagius on September 09, 2007, 08:01:21 AM
Before Roger Moore rocketed to stardom in such television series as The Saint and The Persuaders!, long before he was James Bond, he played the mythic founder of Rome in Romulus and the Sabines (http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-qzcELew6frWBZspks_7SsnUuv9VNTUA-?cq=1&p=274).

Romulus and the Sabines isn't your usual mindless sword-and-sandal muscle man action flick. There are elements of romance and comedy here.  Alas, what might have been a fun movie to watch, is marred by a horrible bootleg quality transfer.  While all bootleg merchandize is shady not all shady merchandize are bootlegs. Then there is East West's DVD of Romulus and the Sabines (http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-qzcELew6frWBZspks_7SsnUuv9VNTUA-?cq=1&p=274), which may not be the  the worst video a budget label has released but it's the smut at the bottom of the barrel.
