Title: Man purposely infects women with HIV ...
Post by: akiratubo on September 12, 2007, 07:09:40 AM
I think this was part of anthology.  It was pretty short.

A man found out he had HIV and decided to get "revenge" by infecting as many women as possible.  He did this by picking up women at clubs and then using condoms with holes poked in them when they did the deed.  It seems to me he wore the same outfit whenever he went to a club.  He never sought treatment and kept looking worse and worse.  At one point, he head freaking LESIONS on his chest but the girl he was with that night didn't think anything of it but to ask "Are you ok?"  He said something like, "Don't worry about it!" and they had sex anyway.  It ended with him, basically shriveled to a skeleton, dying while trying to put on his clubbing clothes as if he could STILL manage to pick up women in that state.  The camera panned from his body to a stack of condoms on his nightstand with a needle laying next to them.

Anyone?

That's "Here Comes Your Man" from Bent Vol. 3, an anthology series of short films by Jason Santo.

Amusingly enough, that's the plot of an indie film a family friend made in the early 1980's - the name of it was Blood Blues and it never saw release of any kind.  He's mentioned wanting to remake it a number of times over the past few years (his son wants to get into film making) but nothing has ever come of it.  Too bad. . .

Kindest regards,

Kevin P.
