Title: "Don't Taze Me Bro"
Post by: Zapranoth on September 24, 2007, 06:07:50 PM
This is another masterpiece from YTMND.

Needs sound, and is funniest if you a) are sort of an ELO fan, and b) have heard about the guy who got tasered at the John Kerry speech.

I heard somewhere that it's this kid's hobby to video himself getting kicked out of press conferences, this just happened to be the first time he got wrestled to the ground & tazed.

One of the cops said that the kid told them he wasn't upset with them, because they were just doing their job.  He acted very nicely until cameras again came into view and then started acting out again.

I was wondering if this guy was just another online wedia star wannabe when I first heard this story, or a legit protestor/gadfly. Reminds me of the "Leave Britney Alone" creature a bit too much.

I knew I was going to be sick of hearing "Don't taze me, Bro!" after the first few times I heard it. It seems to serve all ranges of the political spectrum as media fodder. Conservatives can say this is an example of what our colleges are cranking out, or liberal Washington insiders silencing dissenting voices. Liberals can cry "police brutality", and libertartians (liberal or conservative) can shout about how the "police state" is already here, the politically independent (or just jaded) can say is what the level of political discourse has devolved into, and the tin foil hat brigade can find even darker motives for the action against this guy.

Bill OReilly giving these away with any purchase. I've got one on the way ... to funny.

The guy was a showboat idiot and his 15 minutes are up.
