Title: Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead
Post by: Newt on October 13, 2007, 08:30:34 PM
I have GOT TO see this - caught a few brief glimpses in a 'news' feature on the Space Channel regarding the Toronto After Dark film festival and it looks entertaining.  In an intentionally funny sort of way of course. Heck, the title alone would make me look!

They claimed to have three zombie movies scheduled.  Take a look at the list of films - I know what I think I'd like to see (In the Name of the King, Wolfhound), but are there any of them that any of you would suggest I  try to catch?

Hubby says we can go every night if I want to.   :hot:  Anyone else able to attend?

Poultrygeist.  Looks interesting.  I've been reading about it for a good year now, on Lloyd Kaufman's Myspace and Facebook pages, as well as the Troma site.

Should be interesting.  Sounds different.

Hmm I'm not sure about this. I saw an extended preview at the Brussels Festival (where it premiered) and it relies heavily on the gross out factor (well, coming from Troma, who'd have thought). I don't think it adds a lot to the history of movies, except mutant chicken zombies.

Thanks AlexB, I was coming around to realizing this may be one of those cases where all the 'good' stuff is 'on the outside of the box'.

Still hoping to catch one or two of the others though.
