Title: Lovecraft Historical Society produces 'The Whisperer In The Darkness' Post by: RapscallionJones on October 16, 2007, 12:03:35 PM Dread Central broke the news this morning that the H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society, who produced the incredibly sweet 'Call of Cthulhu' silent short is hard at work on a talkie based on Lovecraft's evil aliens story, 'The Whisperer In The Darkness'.
http://www.cinema-suicide.com/2007/10/16/ia-shub-niggurath-the-hp-lovecraft-historical-society-is-at-it-again/ The teaser is up on the HPLHS website. Definitely check it out. This group somehow figured out how to faithfully adapt Lovecraft to the screen. "Talkies" are a very different prospect from silent films, but hopefully they continue on with their excellence in Lovecraft. Title: Re: Lovecraft Historical Society produces 'The Whisperer In The Darkness' Post by: Raffine on October 18, 2007, 09:46:43 PM Great news! Thanks!
