I'm really angry with Nitpickers.com right now. I have what I feel are two perfectly valid nitpicks for movies, and no matter how many times I keep submitting them they keep being rejected for the oddest reasons. See if these strike you as unworthy of being consider nitpicks/plot holes/bloopers:

1. In Island of Terror, at the meeting hall David West mentions that they ran over a Silicate. However, this never occurs at any time prior to this scene. The only time it could have occurred is when they're driving away from the mansion the second time, and they clearly do not run over any Silicates.

This has been rejected at least twice, because it was deemed "possible." Just because it's possible they did run over a Silicate at some point does not change the fact West is referencing a scene that never happened!

2. This is the one that really gets my goat. In Terminator 2, the T-1000 commandeers a police helicopter, right? Right. And so when the chopper is closing in the fleeing SWAT van, Sarah announces its arrival, and the Terminator somehow knows "It's him." How? Why? The chopper is a police chopper and our pal the Terminator just got done shooting up a buttload of squad cars and kneecapping several officers, so there's no reason for the regular pilot not to pursue them (which he was, prior to the T-1000 getting aboard, an event our heroes did not witness; they didn't even know the T-1000 was even at Cyberdyne), yet for some reason, Arnie just magically leaps to the conclusion that it must be the T-1000 flying the chopper.

This one has been rejected a grand total of three times. Funny, but I thought a character knowing something they couldn't possibly know, or leaping to a conclusion based on nothing, was considered a blooper.

I can't say I'm familiar with the site, but I can (and have) said before that the Terminator movies are all inconsistent messes: your observation is a minor thing (why wouldn't Arnie assume it was the T-1000? Is he supposed to understand police procedure? He's a cyborg from the future, not a citizen). The whole premise of time travel is inconsistent in the series: Neither John nor Arnie can bring a weapon back because "nothing dead can go through." Well, Arnie is a big machine--dead matter. How does he get through? Some people have said it was because his robot parts were encased in living matter. Okay, then, how does the T-1000 get through? He is not encased in anything, and he is liquid metal--again, dead matter. I enjoyed the special effects in the movies, and some of the dialog is fun, but the movies themselves are too self-contradictory--I don't care if they are realistic, but a story can't contradict the rules it has specifically set up and just expect its audience to accept it.

I guess I had just figured that there would be no reason that Skynet wouldn't invent a flesh-coated full auto laser carbine, or what have you, just to make this one trip.    There's no logical reason not to, if you're an emotionless AI and you're fighting for your survival.

In the same scene the windshield on the chopper is magically fixed after he bust his head through the window and makes the other pilot jump out.
