Title: Zero Punctuation
Post by: Ed Sigma on November 30, 2007, 05:18:52 PM
How many here have seen the Zero Punctuation (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation) series of video game reviews at the Escapist?  These are courtesy of web humourist Yahtzee (http://www.fullyramblomatic.com/), and are some of the funniest looks at the industry in quite a while.  Here are his early YouTube epsiodes, the rest are at the Escapist.  (Warning - naughty words!)

Welcome aboard, Justy!

Had not seen those before, but the first really summed up how many people felt about the old "ET" game for the Atari.  Except, there wasn't anything amusing about asking a demon to move a car.

You know, listening to him, I wonder if the gent who made those ever played the old Infocom games, like "Zork" and "Leather Goddesses of Phobos."

Very probably, since I know he's a big fan of such adventure games (especially the Lucasarts ones like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle) and he's made several of his own (and bloody good ones they are too!).
