I watched the Biography/Drama movie with George Eads as Evel about 3 months ago and you have to stand in awe of his guts. He broke more than 40 bones during his life and still he kept at it.

Amazing that he lived so long, what with all the risks he took. Must have had a lot of meticulous planning going into his jumps.

They'd be on in the evening and he'd just something like 30 buses and crash breaking a ton of bones, I guess one of his last great jumps was Snake River canyon.

Yes, he was charismatic about it, but I can't really find it in my soul to admire him for it. With all of the self-inflicted damage, and all the pain he was in for years before he died, I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did.
