Though we have different album cover art, I meant the ELVIS record you show at your #1 (with "Mama Liked The Roses").  One of the very best Christmas albums I've heard.
I'd rank MITCH MILLER's Christmas album above both DEAN MARTIN and any holiday SINATRA (though I love both artists, I only like one of SINATRA's holiday songs, "Oh by gosh by golly...," and think MITCH MILLER's album is essential.)

It's hard for to but Mitch, while great above Dino or ole Blue Eye's. I just have a passion for that old crooner music. But I have Mitch Miller's album on LP, in fact I have all of the one I listed and some of the ones you listed, I'll be breaking them out soon to annoy the family. I love doing that.

They don't make Christmas albums like they use to, I guess it's politically incorrect nowadays. And the ones they make pretty much suck.

Couldn't agree more.

I have to get my Christmas music fix by watching my Christmas Classics DVD set:  Rudolph, Frosty, Little Drummer Boy, etc.  There's a music CD in there too, I'll have to check that out, I think it's actually okay.

I'm really in the mood for some Burl Ives right now.  Might have to break down and pick up a CD.

Snoopy and the Royal Guardsmen!
Well, if you say it's Christmas, that's good enough for me...!  I listen to lots of interesting things that might be Christmas to me... but right now, I like Gregorian Chants, which can be remarkable.  This recording is the best of such that I have currently, though I did make the foolish mistake nearly 30 years ago of loaning a rare and unusual LP of Ambrosian chants to a friend, a record I loved, and, as you guessed, lost.  I later contacted the publisher to replace the record, but they seemed to have no record of it, and were no help (the LP had been issued by The Musical Heritage Society whose offices ironically are just a few miles away and I pass often.)  Someday I know I will consolidate all of my forces and find the replacement for the Ambrosian chant for St. Stephen's day, which after all these years, unreplaced, I can still hear in my head, one of the most remarkable pieces of music I have ever heard... this bargain bin find (I kid you not) is mis-annotated with all that online detail we sometimes get uploading CDs, nonetheless, this bargain bin find is one of my treasures.  A good friend nearly begged me to take this off, as she was spooked by it, echoing as it does off of stone... to me that is the power of this honest true music.
