Title: RIP Dan Fogelberg Post by: trekgeezer on December 17, 2007, 03:13:02 PM I'm going to admit to liking the guy's music although some might find it "sappy". Dan passed away yesterday after struggling with prostate cancer, he was 56.

Prostate cancer? Got my Dad at 60. One of those things I would not wish on my worst enemy. He passed away last year from complications of diabetes at 42; now his favorite singer has slipped away. I'm bummed just hearing about it.

While I didn't care for his music all that much I can at the same time see why he had such loyal and passionate fans. She and my dad are really big fans of his, and fairly recently I fell in love with his album The Innocent Age. A real shame, but at least he left a positive mark on the world.
