Powell on January 14, 2008, 07:14:54 PM The bad news is that Ford probably would have no chance to win this case if it went to court, but a not-for-profit club wouldn't want to spend even a cent to defend themselves.
The good news is that the bad press Ford gets from these heavy-handed tactics hurts the brand more than the "misappropriation" of their trademark in a fan calendar would. If I were on the board of Ford, someone in the legal department would lose their job over this mistake.
