Saw this movie last year at the Melbourne International Film Festival to a massive sold out crowd.  Half were cringing the whole way...

I enjoyed the hell out of it, sure pretty much every man in the movie is a bastard [well there are a couple of good ones] and it does get over the top with the acting to the point of hilarity. It also deals with some pretty narky topics, like incest, but I recommend it.

Been wanting to do a review on it, but haven't brought myself to get into the mindset, what with the chomping and all.

Is it getting a wide release in the states?

Ok so after watching the trailer it looks like the advertising is going for 'scary type film.'  I know I said it's hilarious, which it is.  Scary for men maybe!  :wink:

But yeah, it is both freaky, icky, hilarious and just ridiculous.  Alot of the humour comes from the horror really, so take that as you will.

Freaky. They've done a nice job with the publicity. I'm certainly curious.

Straight man's worst nightmare. Possibly a lesbian's too......but more of a man's.

Reminds of the old joke about the three travelling salesmen who sleep next door to the farmer's daughter, with a warning to leave her alone. In this one, she either has teeth down there, or the farmer has fitted her with some internal device.

By morning, two are taken away by ambulance and the farmer is commending the third, who clearly still has everything down there.

"Tell me son, how did you manage to control yourself?"

"You thee, it'th like thith thir."

I just learned about this film today and I think the oddity of a woman with a blood-sucking armpit (Rabid) may have possibly been surpassed.
