Title: Star Trek moved to May 8, 2009 Post by: trekgeezer on February 14, 2008, 08:31:10 AM Man I was so looking forward the Christmas 2008 release, but I'll just have to suck it up. Evidently the theory is that the summer releases will be pretty thin next year because of the writers strike, so moving the release will make for better box office.

What he said, but everything I've heard so far about the film has been positive. So, as long as they do it right, I can wait till next year.
