I am a born African, not a _______ African or an African _______ (fill in name of country in blank space) and can trace my history back nearly five generations, which makes me 100% African, even though there are those who challenge this as my skin is as white as Uwe Boll's bum.  :buggedout: Apologies for that last horrible image.

Yes, I am white and I am angry. My country of birth (Zimbabwe) is in a shambles: absolute power corrupts absolutely and this is why that beautiful country has collapsed, once the breadbasket of Central Africa, now the outhouse of the world.

I fear that my country of adoption will go the same way: God forbid that it should but I refuse to stand by idly and let it happen.  :bluesad:

I have a tendency to get a little perturbed about the term Native American. My fathers line goes back in this country to the early 1700s. Plus my great grandmother was an Indian.  I would think that would qualify me as a Native.

Don't you realize that your negative attitude shows through in almost every word you write here?
I would venture to guess that you do.  Why else would you post this thread?
You want us to know how angry you are.

Trekgeezer had it right when he mentioned that Trevor has more to be angry about than any of us. 
He was trying to make a subtle point and he succeeded admirably. 
Your complaining about this and that and how you're so angry is nothing compared to what Trevor and other less priveleged people in this world have been through and are currently going through right now.

Sometimes you write genuinely funny and insightful posts.
But most of the time you come across as an angry spiteful person who just wants to rant.
And that's too bad.
I find it quite disturbing when you say that you're proud to be an Angry White Male.
There are people on this earth who would kill to have what you have...
A home, a job, a vehicle, good friends and a wife and children who love you...yet you complain about trivial things.   :lookingup:

Just before I left for work this morning-the last post I read was Ash'es. I thought to my self-"uh-Oh...the s**t's gonna hit the fan now."

 I was wrong.

 I should have known better. As diverse as our political,religious and social backrounds are....thise forum ALWAYS has maintained a sense of dignity and respect for others beliefs. Sure, it gets a little heated and touch y at times-but it never has really devolped into an idiotic screaming match. You guys are too smart for it!!!!

I've been following this all week, now that it's Saturday I have time to post a reply so I'm going to add my 2 cents, I believe I understand what our friend Cheezeflixz means when he says he's an angry white man, it has nothing to do with race or gender. It's that government, local, state and federal, do things in the name of fairness and equality that actually give an unfair advantage to one group or cause a problem for another group. I can understand the reasoning behind these decisions, can sometimes even see the need for them, that doesn't make them fair or right. It's the feeling that being a middle class working tax payer you are at times being discriminated against by the government your taxes support.

Yeah...this country was built by angry white men,  on paper,......the angry black men ,chinese men,were doing the physical labor....and the angry red men were fighting for there lives,. The AWM  is  p**sed off about various things that the goverment they built backfired on them. They expected the Constitution to stand for ONLY them...not slaves and 'injuns'.

Well, fortunatley, times have changed, and now (most of us) have respect for people of all races.

Even back in the day of the founding fathers it wasn't so much about race as it was about fairness from the crown, of which there was little. Granted the line "All men are created equal ..." seemed a bit absurd in a country that had slavery at the time. But that is a completely different topic unto itself.

I feel most people have respect for anyone that regardless of race, gender, national origin that puts in a honest days work, pays there taxes, takes care of their family and does it all without there hand stuck out as if they are owed something above and beyond their wages. I know I do, I don't see people based on their gender, race or origin I see them as either part of the solution, or part of the problem.
A lot of people needs a little help at some point in their life, and there is a huge difference in those looking for a hand up and those looking for a hand out. I take great belief in the adage give a man a fish he eats for a day (hand out), teach a man to fish he eats for a life time (hand up).
