Title: Adult Swim's Frisky Dingo
Post by: WyreWizard on March 10, 2008, 06:30:38 PM
Yes, I'm back briefly to tell about that hyperridiculous show on a Adult Swim called Frisky Dingo.  I'm sure some of you have actually watched Adult Swim and all of its extreme dumb@$$ shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, 12oz Mouse, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Metalocalypse, Squidbillies, Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law and...oh yeah Robot Chicken.  But this post is only about Frisky Dingo.   :bluesad:Those other shows don't deserve a post from me :bluesad:.

So why am I writing a post on Frisky Dingo?  Well, this show has some extremely flawed science that I will detail in a little bit.  This show also seems to have us confused on who the main character is.  Is it the alleged hero billionaire Xander Crews?  Or is it the villainous almost real-to-life Killface?  The show seems to make us sympathize with Killface's struggles dealing with the fact Xander Crews cuts him off at every circle.  But enough of that.  Now I get onto Frisky Dingo's scientific flaws.

:question:The Anniliatrix.  Killface built this giant thruster the size of a 20 or 30 story building.  Its pointed up and the sky and is intended to push the Earth into the sun.  I have no idea where Killface gets the idea that this tiny little thruster will actually push the Earth into the sun.  But in all actuality, this thing pushing the earth so much an inch is like a mouse pushing a car on neutral uphill on a 45 degree incline.  In all reality, you'd need a thruster more than 1000 times the size of the Annihilatrix to push the Earth out of its orbit into the sun.  And don't get me started on the energy needed for this.

:bouncegiggle: Global Warming Solved.  On the finale of the first season of Frisky Dingo, the Anniliatrix is fired.  But instead of pushing the Earth into the Sun, it pushes it further away.  And what does this do?  It solves the Global Warming problem!  That is so erroneously wrong, its not funny.  Pushing the Earth further away from the Sun will not Solve the Global Warming problem.  Global Warming isn't being caused by the Earth's closeness to the sun.  Global warming has become a problem in the last century or so.  The Earth has been this close to the sun for the past 20,000 years.  While it may have ended the last ice age, it did not cause the Global Warming problem we are facing now.  Global Warming is being caused by the excessive amount of Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere.  Carbon Dioxide as we all know is a greenhouse gas.  The amount of Carbon Dioxide in our atmosphere now is almost doubled from a century ago.  Pushing the Earth further away from the sun will do nothing to fix this problem.  If anything, it may render the Earth incapable of supporting life as it would push the Earth well out of the habitable zone of the Sun's radiation belt.  But even if you pushed the Earth on the extreme edge of the habitable zone of the sun's radiation belt, it still wouldn't solve the Global Warming problem.  The only way to solve the Global Warming problem would be to get rid of the excess Carbon Dioxide and other greenhouse gases in our atmosphere.
