Yes, the last of what Walt Disney called his "Nine Old Men." I'm suprised he lasted as long as he did, after Frank Thomas died. Those two were pratically inseparable. They worked together. Drove back and forth to work together. Lived next door to each other. They even, with their wives, vacationed together.

Here's to Ollie and Frank, who will ever be remembered as Dr. Frankenollie in 1995's "The Runaway Brain," and the other seven who went on before.

I'll drink to that.  They were also in "The Iron Giant" and "The Incredibles."

Let us also raise our glass to the other eight of "Disney's Nine Old Men." Can anybody name all eight? For those who can't, here they are, from the last deceased to the first to die.

Ollie Johnston
Frank Thomas
Ward Kimball
Marc Davis
Eric Larson
Milt Kahl
"Woolie" Reitherman
Les Clark
John Lounsberry

Their like will never be seen again.
