Post by: Patient7 on April 17, 2008, 09:49:47 PM
Remember those songs that when they first came out you listened to them every time you heard it on the radio because they were so awesome?

I know I'm already getting this off topic, but I enjoyed the Fastball song. The style reminded me of another artist called Voltaire (Oh My Goth).

This video isn't the best for comparison, but it's the only one I found quickly:

Amish Paradise by Weird Al Yankovic- I admit, I love the guy, but I was 12 at the time.

The Bad Touch by Bloodhound Gang

Short Skirt/Long Jacket by Cake

Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve

Granted, these might not fit other people's idea of "Great", but at the times these songs came out, I felt they were and would listen every time they were on the radio/MTV.

NB - it's really much more useful when someone posts a youtube link and actually types what the song is above/below it like HappyGilmore did (karma dude)...just a little afterthought...I have nothing to add to this post, just saying...
