I like Rejected, nominated for best animated short (one of the few actual good nominations) Harry Knuckles on the Tromadance short tape Rick and Steve the happiest gay couple in all the world (lego animation is fun) Also what are some good short film tapes/dvds? Its a classic. It was done by me and 2 friends. We did it as a last minute project for English 11. It's about a sad little guy who invents a new product called "Bliss", and it's all set to New Order's "Elegia".

This little girl gets a bump on the head that gives her psychic powers to inflict torment on her older brother. Really very touching and silly-funny. Good photography, too.
Both "Un Chien Andalou" and "Blood of a Poet" could qualify as short films, as they're both under an hour long. See them now if you haven't yet. I did a student film once that got an Academy Award nomination -- didn't win -- called "The Goblin King", by Chris Graves, that's only 7 min. long. I have no idea if it's on any anthologies or not. It was shown everywhere about '89/'90 or so, and then disappeared. I play a dad who is unconsciously visiting the same evil on his son that his own father visited upon him. Based on a short story by a well-known writer whose name escapes me -- I haven't seen it in some time myself.
