Title: "The Creation" filming this June -- Post by: peter johnson on April 29, 2008, 11:44:37 AM I put this over on Pros & Novices as well, not really knowing where the more appropriate post-site would be --
Anyway, I've been cast in an indie production called "The Creation" -- filming in Northern Colorado this June -- which, not to give too much away, seems a pretty good addition to the Creepy Old House genre. I'm playing the Cassandra character (Old Jim), you know: "Are you kids sure you want to go up there? Wouldn't you rather go to the beach or Disney World?". I only hope enough of us are left standing at the end for a sequel!! Go to www.afilmcompanyllc.com & check out the creepy poster. It was funny: At callbacks, I sat next to this guy who had as his side (section of the script) a scene wherein he's talking very nastily to this other character. Turns out the "other character" is the demonic being in human form. We looked at each other -- "Dude . . . you are so hamburger!". We then spent the rest of the wait time coming up with preposterously gory & foul ways for him to die. Ah, actors . . . peter johnson/denny please don't kill me! Now, be sure not too act too well, because you know we bad movie lovers need something to laugh about when watching THE CREATION. Ham it up, munch some scenery. Oh, and if you could try to sneak a boom mike or two into a shot, we'd all really appreciate it. :smile: |
