Title: Kid afraid of a barber Post by: quabrot on May 27, 2008, 04:57:50 AM I remember when i was little, a babysitter of mine was watching something. Most likely a skit on a TV show, about a kid nervous about going to the barber. The kid sat down, got his hair cut, and was assured it would only hurt a little. After a weird dream, he left with his hair cut, but the last shot had the barber dropping his ear into a jar of solution. I don't know if anyone else has seen this but it's a strange memory I'd like to place. The best I could place this is early 1990s

The ending has the dad telling the kid that it wasn't so bad (or something similar) and the kid asks "What?" as the barber drops the ear in the jar. I think HBO had some series on for kids like Saturday or sunday mornings (around the time Babar and Encyclopedia aired) But I could be mistaking that channel for something else.
Cosmic Slop was an okay film, I preferred the story with the aliens who come to buy all the blacks in the US of the three. And that was in the brief period in my child when we had premium channels (and cable TV in general). I know it wasn't "In Living Color".
