Ironically, if this trend continues and becomes a drawdown, all arguments over whether we should stay or withdraw from Iraq will be moot.

Ironic, isn't it, now that most of the news out of Iraq is good, how little we hear of it?

That depends on who you read. But as one blogger said, "Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton are all over the news again. We must be winning in Iraq!"

This by no means shows everything, but neither did your example. Besides, I thought you were in favor of abandoning Iraq regardless of how it looks. If you won't be happy even when our troops start coming home, there's nothing anyone can do for you.
