Title: alter boys, steal from hot dog stand; arrested; kill the man who raped em in jail
Post by: @C3-D0G on June 25, 2008, 09:17:58 PM
this movie came out in the between 1950-2000. kind of old. i can remember that it involves 3 or 4 alter/catholic boys who steal from a hot dog stand. they steal the whole stand and it rolls down a subway/staircase and kills a man. they get arrested and are sent to jail. a priest testifies for them but they are still sent to jail. some guard/man that works in the jail rapes them and abuses them. later in the future they spot the guy at a bar and shoot/kill him.
what is the name of this movie.

It's definitely "idk."

My apologies if you're serious.  In that case the answer is, idk.

Yes, it is "Sleepers." And no, it is not based on a true story, even though they tried to pass it off as a "true" story..

Depends who you believe.  Lorenzo Carcaterra, who wrote the novel behind the movie claims that it was based on a true story, but he changed the names, dates, and places of the events in order to protect the privacy of those involved.  The authorities denied that these events ever took place.
