Title: Tomb of Anubis Updates - 06/29 Post by: AnubisVonMojo on June 29, 2008, 01:45:55 PM It was a fairly well rounded week at the The Tomb of Anubis (http://www.tombofanubis.com) for our readers. Nix returned for the second week with some very positive words for the original 1997 mind warping Austrian flick Funny Games, about a pair of twisted individuals who hold a family hostage in their own home for some, well, funny games... Anubis pulled a feature review for the Japanese fantasy epic Dororo, about a man who was born missing 48 of his body parts and now seeks to retake them from the demons who hold them... by killing the monsters with his arms... WHICH ARE MADE OUT OF SWORDS! Anubis also did a (not quit as short as he'd liked it to be) Shortie review for the unbearable Tripping the Rift: the Movie... which isn't even a movie, but a mish-mash of several episodes of the TV show's unreleased-in-the-US third season... several unfunny episodes at that...

I don't know Cheeze. I've only actually watched a few episodes of the show, and the movie is primarily made up of episodes from it's third season which were never aired in the US because Sci-Fi apparently canceled it before they could be shown. I couldn't stand it. I thought it was just a series of boring, tired old jokes that I'd either seen a hundred times before or didn't think were funny to begin with. I love crude humor and parody, but this just sucked. I haven't seen season 3 yet but I guess I'll end up getting it too when it comes out. I'll have to see the movie and everything I've read says it sucks so I reckon if it does I won't be surprised. Season 1 is by far the best season, in season 2 you can see it was going down a little ... I just want to see Six nakkid ... she's a CILF. |
