Post by: AnubisVonMojo on July 22, 2008, 04:19:25 PM At first all I'd heard was that Bale had turned himself in for "assaulting" his mother and sister but was later released without being charged. Watching the news right now, they clarified that the "assault" was actually a verbal dispute the three had had and yelling at someone in England apparently counts as "verbal assault"... wtf.

I've been nailed for physical, crimnial damage and breach of the peace, and been a victim of verbal and phsyical abuse, but I have never ever heard of that crap. I don't know much about UK real estate, but it says his mother has a modest 275,000 pound house. That's approximately $650,000 which is hardly modest in my part of the US.
