Title: Music Video I Helped On. Post by: dean on August 20, 2008, 12:09:05 AM Ok so a few months ago I helped a friend make a video clip for Goth-Rock band "Darkness Visible". The bassist was a friend of my friend, so we went along to their gig and brought a couple of cameras, filmed the gig, then went and edited the hell out of it. Here is the end result, with their song "Flesh." Warning though there are a few naughty words in it. Say what you like about their music, the band does have a good 'look' about them, and one of the 'scythes' on stage has the line 'The penis is evil' written in 'blood' on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olgBAdqNwqY Title: Re: Music Video I Helped On. I couldn't help to laugh each time that guy said "Flesh!" though :bouncegiggle: I agree about the look of the band - cool, although performance wise from the band I would have preferred more "action". This topic caught my attention as there is no escaping that I produced, wrote, directed and edited this video of my own: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DQAmr_hskA It's a song called "Castles of Air" by a band called "Carneous", they are friends of my kid brother(who did the make up btw!). It was finished about a year ago and it was the first time I ever did anything like it, that includes editing anything on a computer, so bear in mind... But feel free to comment! BTW: My youngest kid brother has a plastic scythe exactly like that! Apart from the penis thing... |
