Title: TSA genius accidentally grounds nine planes......... Post by: trekgeezer on August 20, 2008, 12:30:37 PM By using an external sensor as a hand hold to climb up on the plane. If they're supposed to inspect planes shouldn't they know something about them?

I have come to the conclusion that certain jobs are impossible to lose. When I worked in a shipyard, we had a Department of Public Safety boat that we did a bunch of work on, , and 2 days after they left, the Captain scraped one side of the lower hull on a MAPPED rock, ripping all the brand new channel coolers off, totally raping the hull. After doing so, he turns the ship around to head BACK to us, and does the EXACT SAME THING to the OTHER SIDE, , ON THE SAME ROCK. On top of all that, the guy turns out to be THE HIGHEST PAID STATE WORKER in the entire state, what with a Captain being pretty highly paid to begin with, , and additional sea pay, overtime, per-diem when in the drydock (both times). The next year, , when they came to drydock, , he was still Captain of the same ship. |
