Mid 1970`s American made watched on UK T.V. channel, takes place on an island, orangutang like creatures dressed in dungarees and red caps are being used for mining work...lots of wheelbarrows and wooden platforms, the creatures eat meat out of a tin, a human decides to defend their rights and takes a female and child of this species into a courtroom where unfortunately they are killed under a large bookcase.
