"Street Fighter: the movie" was one of the worst films ever, just because it's been 14 years doesn't mean it's a good idea. Who gives a rat-ass about Chun-Li either, the majority of people that go to see this would be guys - they want to see Ken, Ryu & Guile, "What's that?" ....."They're not in it?" .....Who cares! Quote Jean-Claude Van Damme, who played Guile in the 1994 live-action film version of Street Fighter, stated that he was approached and offered a part in this movie. He turned it down because, according to him, he is now being careful in choosing film roles HAHAHAH :bouncegiggle: That's the funniest thing I've heard from an actor in a while! :teddyr: Quote It has been confirmed on the movie's production blog that Ryu and Ken will not appear in the movie, as it is more of a Chun-Li origin story, but they may appear in future sequels. Sequels people! :buggedout: I highly doubt that those "sequels", if planned will come to fruition. If they were going to do a movie focusing on only one, I would have picked Chun-Li or Guile. Blanka would have been a good one, growing up as little more than a beast in the jungle.
That being said, this movie looks like it's going to suck. |
