I first got onto the internet around 2001, maybe a little earlier.

When I first got onto the internet, I also had an interest in having my own website.

My website was going to be dedicated to a favorite horror movie of mine, Zeder. Some may be more familiar with this film under its U.S. distribution title of Revenge of the Dead, which really doesn't fit as, though this does have some zombie movie elements, it is not a zombie movie.

I had a domain name as well. Though, not knowing anything about domains and web design, and other pressing matters at hand, I never got around to registering that domain, until I tried a few years later, and it had been registered by someone else.

I put the site on the back burner where it basically languished as nothing more than a simple front page.

Guess what.

The domain became available and I grabbed it today. (http://5g8.net/smileys/yahoo.gif) (http://5g8.net)

Yeah, this is nothing major for anybody; I'm just happy to have the domain I originally wanted 7 or more years ago; the first domain I wanted. Eh, maybe I'll eventually put a site there as well; probably a blog. Presently, all that is there is that original front page I had worked up (despite an old laptop and a computer being fragged by lightning, amazingly this file and two images were on a flash drive; it outlived the computer it was created on).
