Title: ABC's Life on Mars
Post by: ER on October 09, 2008, 10:30:17 PM
Caught the first episode tonight and think it has potential. I was a fan of the British version and believe there's hope for this US remake. In case anyone is unfamiliar with the concept, a police officer in 2008 is involved in an accident that seemingly sends him back to the year 1973. Is he really there? Is it an alternate reality? Is it all his coma-based hallucination? I guess we'll have to watch and find out (and hope the American version has more explanation in its closure). Anyway, seemed pretty good tonight.

I actually thought the American version would be better, but I've been dissapointed with what I've seen. The UK version was a really cool series, although I never did catch the last episode. That said, Ashes To Ashes, wasn't as good as I had hoped and time will only tell if a US version of that gets the go ahead.

Saw a bit of it, seems okay but I'll probably end up not watching it.
