Title: Dungeons and Dragons Post by: VogNhymn on October 18, 2008, 02:52:53 PM I think this might have been from the mid 80's. Not sure. I only caught a few minutes of it on TV maybe around 1989.
It was a film about some kid obsessed with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. I recall his folks were trying to get him to quit. The scene that sticks out in my head is that the guy is sitting in his bedroom and I think looks at his feet and poking out from under his bed is The Dungeon Masters Guide. (along with spooky music) I am almost think it was like an after school special or something to that affect. It was not the film "Mazes and Monsters." From what I recall it did not have horror aspects, it was played out more like a drama almost like a film about someone with alcoholism or drug addiction.
